Description – Light bay
Addis Ababa lost his eye in July 2014 when he was grazing in the field near the stables. No-one saw this happen but he was operated on and is now recuperating and healing well. He is strong Horse but has a recurring swelling on his right rear leg, a problem he came from Ethiopia with. It doesn’t seem to cause much pain but he is rested when the swelling gets bad. He is the most disciplined of all the ponies. He will begin patrolling on a lead until he gets used to having sight in only one eye. It will take time for him to get used to his new circumstances. The team all adore him and are determined to get him working again.
